On Wednesday, May 2 the New Rights Party National Committee session was held in Party headquarters. Besides analyzing the current political situation and party strategic issues, the National Committee has also discussed some organisational issues. Arnold Stepanyan, chairman of the NGO "Multinational Georgia" and head of Armenian Diaspora in Tbilisi has recently joined the New Rights Party. The National Committee has accepted him in the Political Council and assigned as a coordinator of the Javakheti region. Mzia Totladze MP has been delegated as a coordinator of the Kakheti region (Telavi district). Moreover, Tbilisi district organisations´ conferences were planned for one month and Tbilisi City Conference was scheduled for June 15, 2007. |

The New Rights held the National Committee Session

Today, on April 23 the New Rights Party leader David Gamkrelidze MP, Irakli Iashvili MP, Party International Secretary George Mosidze, President of the "Young Rights" Irina Pruidze and Party Coordinator in Samtskhe-Javakheti region Arnold Stephanian met with the International Republican Institute´s Eurasia Director Stephen B. Nix and Director of IRI Georgia Mark Lenzi. The meeting that lasted for two hours covered current political processes of Georgia. |

The New Rights met the Deputy Chairman of the International Democrat Union

On April 20, the New Rights met in the party headquarters with the IDU Deputy Chairman, Norway´s former Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Jan Petersen. The conversation concerned NATO integration and Democracy development processes in Georgia. Mr. Petersen displayed an interest towards the facts of Private Property Rights and Human Rights violation and condition of Mass Media in the country. |
